v Walk Improvement Improve-ment Made on Main Street A most creditable improvement is being made in our city's business section this week with the laying of a half block of new sidewalk east from Center street on the north side. The work is being done under a cooperative plan by the city and property owners, toe city furnishing the labor and the property owners the materials. A full four inch solid block of cement the full width of the walk is being put down. Half of the distance was poured Wednesday and the balance yesterday. There are considerable stretches of sidewalk in the city which needs repairs and many citizens are asking ask-ing that these be made on the same basis. It is probable that the city officials will secure a P. W. A. project proj-ect and take care of the needed repairs in toe residential sections. o
