Show UTAH LAMB CROP HIGHER Utah's 1936 lamb crop is estimated at 1,451,000 head, compared to 1,250,000 for 1935, and 1,472,000 for 1934, according to a report just issued is-sued by the office of the agricultural agricul-tural statistician. The increase is due largely to a more favorable season sea-son this year than last, as there was only a slight increase in the number of ewes. The report shows that the number of breeding ewes in Utah January 1 of this year was 1,961,000 as compared with 1,921,000 for the same time in 1935. In terms of percentages, the 1936 lamb crop is 74; the 1935 crop 75, and the 1934 crop 72. |
