Show Stake Genealogical Convention Sun. A Timpanogos Stake Genealogical convention will be held Sunday, Au-guest Au-guest 30th, with meetings at 9:30 a. m., 11:00 a. m. and 2:00 p. m. All meetings are for the general public. The Stake Presidency, High Council, Bishoprics, and Stake and Ward Genealogical committees are especially espe-cially desired to attend. All juniors, if possible, should be at the 2:00 p. m. meeting, as that session of the convention will be devoted to then-work. then-work. At the 9:30 a. m. meeting, "The Way to Perfection," a presentation of the value of the senior lesson text and how it should be used, will be given by the visiting representative representa-tive from' the genealogical convention conven-tion force, also, Endorsement of Genealogical and Temple work, by the stake president. At the 11:00 a. m. meeting, a discussion dis-cussion hour will be directed by the visiting representative. Anyone having hav-ing questions on problems of class work, home teaching, organization, fecord keeping, research or temple -work should submit them before hand in writing to conserve time. Sister Ovena J. Oakey of the Research Re-search department, and Brother Joseph Jo-seph H. Smith, recorder of temple, win he the visiting representatives. Musical numbers are being prepared for each, meeting. Genealogical Union meeting will be held Sunday, August 23, at 2 p. m. in the Third ward chapel. |
