Show Ten Years Ago Now (Taken from files of Aug. 12, 1926) C. L. Johnson, who has been in business at Lehi Junction for a number of years is moving his dry goods and grocery business to Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. The building is to under go extensive repairs and improvements improve-ments to get ready for business next Thursday. The "Busy Corner" store will cpen in the old bank building. Ten Years Ago Now Delbert Fugal and the Misses Mau-rine Mau-rine Gamett, Elva Meredith and Marvel Atwood left Monday for Salt Lake to attend the missionary scnool previous to leaving for the California Califor-nia mission on August 27th. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and .Mrs. J. J. Freeman entertained en-tertained at their home Sunday evening eve-ning at a wedding reception in honor hon-or of their son, Reed, and Miss Ivy Maupin of Kemmer, Wyoming, who were married at Kemmer on August 6th. The descendants of the late Benjamin Ben-jamin Harper held their annual reunion re-union at Geneva Thursday. C. B. Harper, son of Benjamin Harper, came to Utah in 1866 and later the remainder of the family emigrated. At the present time there are 1164 descendants, 120 of whom were present pres-ent at this reunion. Two original members and five great-great-' grandchildren were among them. n |
