Show Ten Years Ago NOW , ; :, Over 600 residents of the Fourth ward were entertained at their annual ann-ual reunion held in the basement of the Alpine stake tabernacle last Friday Fri-day afternoon and evening, February Feb-ruary 17th, in a most pleasing and entertaining way. Ten Years Ago Now John Emerson and Anita Loos would have indeed said "Well Done" ir they could have seen the splendid interpretation given or their three-act three-act rarce "The Whole Town's Talking" Talk-ing" by the local high school dramatic drama-tic art students in their annual school play staged at the Cameo Theatre Friday evening, February 17th. Ten Years Ago Now At the special patriotic program given at the American Fork High School Wednesday morning, Proies-sor Proies-sor Pardoe or the B. Y. U. raculty was the speaker. These kind of services were held in due honor of Washington's birthday and was very much in keeping with the patriotic pat-riotic reeling. Ten Years Ago Now Successrul in every detail was the Elders entertainment featured Monday Mon-day evening in the basement of the Alpine Stake Tabernacle. Beginning Begin-ning promptly and having a snappy and interesting program at the beginning be-ginning and ending with a dance, everyone felt more than repaid for their coming out and supporting this social. Ten Years Ago Now Provo downed American Fork 21 to 18 Tuesday night here in a hard fought battle. American Fork led by two points at the end of the half, but the Provo five came back strong in the final half and won easily. Peters and Webb, high point men, each scored 6 points for the local five. |
