Show Air. Harold Creer of Spanish Fork and Miss Lora Maughn of Payson, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Devey Jr. Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Reynold of Provo, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. l. Ashby Wednesday 1 evening, the occasion being Mr. Reynold's birthday anniversary. Mrs. D. J. Webb, Mrs. Ward Webb and Mrs. John Goates of Lehi, spent Friday here visiting at the home of Mrs. Kenneth Singleton. I The Old Veterans of Salt Lake City entertained at their annual I party Tuesday at the Old Veterans ' Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Irving L. Pratt 1 were in attendance. There was 175 ; guests present. Mr. and Mrs. Vera Holindrake and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Oakey spent Wednesday in Salt Lake combining business and pleasure. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Fitzgerald left (last Thursday for Nevada where they plan to make their home. Mrs. Glen L. Taylor was among those attending the party given at the home of Mrs. John L. Nuttal Tuesday afternoon. Every year Mrs Nuttal entertains the girls who entered en-tered mutual twenty-five years ago, while she was presiding as president of the Y. W. M. I. A. in Lake View. A delightful dinner was served at 2 p. m. The remainder of the afternoon after-noon was .spent with social chat. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sykes enter-I enter-I tamed members of the Contract Bridge club at a delightful southern dinner last Thursday evening Bridge followed the dinner with Mrs David Taylor winning high score favor and Mrs. Ida Coddington the second favor. Roses were used as a table decoration. The following members were present: Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Baird, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Houston, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Monday night a Legion and auxiliary auxil-iary social was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Moss. The entertaining enter-taining rooms were beautifully decorated deco-rated in patriotic colors. A clever program, games and a pot luck luncheon were enjoyed. One of the clever features of the program was a group dressed in costumes representing repre-senting Maggie, May West, Dr. De-Foe De-Foe and others. During the l(mch talks, suitable to the occasion, were given by Adolphus Pulley and H E McNeill. The committee responsible responsi-ble for the program were, Ed Moss, Hans Laursen and Eslie Bennett! The next regular meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Adolphus Pulley on Friday, March 11th. All auxiliary members are urged to attend. at-tend.
