Show Unusual Musical Treat Enjoyed Bishop Oldroyd of the Provo Sixth ward conducted the meeting at the Tnird ward Sunday evening, where a large audience enjoyed a splendid program. Musical numbers were conducted by Miss Margaret Sum-merhays Sum-merhays and the choir numbers included in-cluded "Prepare Ye The Way of The Lord," "Holy Spirit, Faithful Guide," "Arise, Ssine" and as a final number "Hosannah," a baritone solo "Gloria" by Mr. William Knudsen, soprano solo, "Bless This House," Mrs. Lillian Young; tenor solo, "My Ship," Mr. Max Mendenhall; piano solos, "A Savior of the World," "Serenade" and "Prelude" by Miss Orvilla Luke, soprano solo, "God Make Me Kind," Mrs. Camilla Woods; ladies trio, "The Green Cathedral" Ca-thedral" - and chorus number, Mur-dock Mur-dock Sisters. Former Bishop Harold R. Clark gave a very interesting talk on the appreciation of music and a plea for understanding between fathers and sons. He read, "A Letter to My Father," written thirty years after the death of the father. |
