' Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grant and family moved to Salt Lake City last Friday, where they will make their home for as indefinite time, Mr. Grant, being employed by the Maytag Washer Wash-er Co. Word was received the first of the week by Mrs. W. R. Halliday that her brother, Myron F. West, who is attending at-tending the University of New York, has had a relapse in health, and has been taken to a New York hospital. According to last reports, he is doing as well as can be expected. The Ladies Literary Association were entertained last. Thursday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mrs. James Chip-man. Chip-man. Mrs. Leonard Chipman Was assisting hostess. The Association colors, yellow and green, were carried car-ried out in the decorations and also in the luncheon, which was1 served early in the evening. Miss Leolette Christensen gave an outline of the volumes "The Books of Life," which the Ladies Literary Association presented pre-sented to the Public Library! for the Annie C. Hindley Memorial Shelf. These hooks will be reviewed at the various meetings of this association. Another interesting feature of the program was an oration "The Origin of the Constitution" by Miss Sarah Chipman. Miss Chipman is the winner win-ner of the Jordan District in the national oration contest, and Is a Senior at (the local high school.
