Show BERRY-CKOOKSTON MARRIAGE An attractively arranged wedding of the early fall was that of Miss Esther Berry and Byron Elden Crookston at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Berry at Provo Sunday. Elden is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Crookston of this city. The marriage was preformed at high noon, the Reverend Edwin F. Irwin, of the Provo Community church officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by members of the immediate families of the young couple and Miss Maxine Connell, a friend of the bride. Roses in baskets and vases very beautifully decorated the reoeption rooms and formed a background for the wedding party. The bride was charming in a handsome gown of ivory satin with pearl accessories. Her veil of flowing tulle was held in place with orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of rosebuds rose-buds and lily of the valley. A wedding cake formed the centerpiece center-piece for the refreshment table where a tasty lunch was served. The newlyweds left immediately for southern Utah for a short trip. They will leave Monday for Shelley, Idaho to make their home, Mr. Crookston having work as a chemist in the sugar factory there. |
