Show TiT-Stake" Conference Here Sun. The Alpine, Lehi -and Timpanogos stakes will join in holding a mid-siunmer mid-siunmer quarterly conference Sunday, Sun-day, June 30th, in the Alpine stake tabernacle at American Fork. This conference will be in the nature of a reunion of the old Alpine stake and will be presided over by the former Presidency, Stephen L. Chip-man, Chip-man, James H. Clarke and Abel John Evans. The meetings will be held at 10 a. m., 2 p. m. and 7 p. m. The music for the meetings will be furnished by the different stakes; Timpanogos the morning session, Lehi and Alpine the afternoon, and Lehi and Timpanogos the evening meeting. Under the direction of stake chorister, chor-ister, E. E. Beck, the following numbers num-bers have been prepared for the evening eve-ning meeting: A male chorus will render, "Safely and Tenderly, Jesus Is Calling," Leon Gordon singing the solo, also "Where Jesus Lives." The string quartet, Mrs. Lavona Jensen, Mrs. Elna Clark, Mrs. Martha Mar-tha Jones and Alfred Swenson will render sacred numbers. Mrs. May R. Walker and son, Jesse, will sing a duet number. This is the first tine such a reunion re-union has been attempted since the division of the stake, seven years ago, and a large attendance is expected. In addition to the members of the three 'stakes all former residents of the old Alpine stake are cordially invited in-vited to be present. |
