Show Services Conducted Con-ducted for Crooks-ton Crooks-ton Youth Funeral services for Roy Kenneth Crookston were held Friday in the Second ward, Bishop Joseph H. Storrs presiding. Roy was born April 16, 1922, the son of Mr: and Mrs. John R. Crookston, and died June 18, 1935, after a three months' illness of ear infection, which developed devel-oped into meningitis. The Second ward Relief Society quartet, Mrs. Hazel Walker, Mrs. Myrtle Houston, Mrs- May Halliday and Mrs. Lottie Hammond, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Lydia Olsen, sang "Rock of Ages." Prayer was offered by Leonard F. Harrington. "Lay My Head Beneath The Rose" was beautifully rendered by Moral D. Steele and remarks were made by Charles Walker, member of the faculty fac-ulty of the Junior high school. The quartet sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" followed by remarks re-marks by Clyde Crookston. Bishop Storrs made the closing remarks and the quartet sang "Behold, Tis Eventide" The benediction was pronounced by Lloyd B. Adamson, principal of the Junior high school-Interment school-Interment was made in the Amer-1 ican Fork city cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by W- S. Chip-man. Chip-man. o |
