Mr. -and Mrs. Wesley Jense moved to Salt Lake City Sunday where Mr. Jense has steady employment. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Fage and Mrs. Vida Conway left Monday for Vernal to visit with relatives. Mrs. Leda Thompson Jensen, former form-er teacher tf Domestic Art at the Pleas-ant Grove High School, visited i friends in Pleasant Grove Tuesday. Mrs. Edna Poulson Church returned re-turned to her home in Bur-ley, Idaho, Thursday after a ten days' visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Poulson, Poul-son, and other relatives. Mrs- Agnes Struble and children of Santa Anna, California, and Mrs. Darrel Cutler and three children of Salt Lake City, were guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Warnick. Mr-, and Mrs. C. X. Wright and family, Mrs. B. H. Adams and Mrs. James D. Thome motored to Eph-raim Eph-raim Friday to attend the funeral of Lawrence Peterson, who was killed kill-ed in an accident Tuesday evening of last week. The officers mid teachers of the ! 'Third "ward Sunday School and their partners enjoyed a picnic supper sup-per at the Cave Camp in American Fork canyon Thursday evening. A camp-fire program was enjoyed after af-ter the supper had been enjoyed. Dr. "B. C. Linebaugh and son, Kay le, motored to Pheonix, Arizona, last week. Kayle will be employed during . the summer by the Westward Ho Garage, located at Pheonix. The doctor and his daughter, Jewel Line-- Line-- baugh Berge, returned home early in the week. Mrs. Berge will visit indefinitely at her father's home. Mrs. Harold S- Walker entertained the Mother's club at her home Thursday evening . Charles S'essons, a representative of the Utah Power ' & Light Co., gave an illustrated talk on proper lighting of the modem home. The remainder of the time ; was spent in social chat. Tues-jday. Garda Goodrich and Lila Hancock of Bluebell, Utah, are visiting with Miss Vola Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Leo R. Walker and family of Garland, spent the weekend week-end with Mrs. Walker's mother, Mrs. Regina Thome. Mrs. Amy Brown Lyman of Salt Lake City, was the guest of relatives rela-tives here Saturday. Merrill N- Warnick was in Logan Tuesday to attend a meeting of the state Holstein association. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ash announce the birth of a baby boy Sunday, June 23rd. All concerned are doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren celebrated cele-brated their Silver wedding anniversary anniver-sary at a social at their home Thursday Thurs-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Lim of Idaho, who came to Pleasant Grove to celebrate cele-brate Strawberry day, returned home Saturday. Harry Heal and son of Provo, and Mr. H. W. Clark of Pleasant Grove, spent Sunday at Duchesne 'on a fishing fish-ing trip. i i ! Mrs. Belva W. Edwards of Pioche, Nevada, will spend the summer with relatives here while her husband at- j tends summer school at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. George Richards left Friday for their summer home in j American Fork canyon where they jwill remain during the summer months. H. S. Don Smith, 14-year-old son of Mr land Mrs. George L. Smith was op-; op-; crated on Sunday at the Aird hospi-jtal hospi-jtal in Provo for appendicitis. At last reports he is doing nicely. Mrs. H. "W. Jacobs entertained at ,a birthday party Tuesday in honoi of her daughter-, Ann Aleen. About fifteen children enjoyed outdooi games. Dainty refreshments were j served. Miss Elizabeth Newman is slowly improving in health at the L D. S j hospital, after a major operatior. j performed about six weeks ago. Mrs : Frank B. Newman spent Monday at her bedside. Mrs. Lucius Laudie and daughter. lOrpha, returned to their home in j Ogden Sunday after a month's visit with Mrs. Laudie's mother, Mrs Mary R. Halliday, who accompanied them home for an indefinite visit. Howard N. Thorne, who formerly operated the Thome's Clothes Shop, here, is at his old location for a few days with a hue of Bell Tailors suiting. He is prepared to outfit his old customers with made-to-measure clothing. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Clark and family fam-ily attended a birthday party at Lehi last Friday evening in honor of the 85th anniversary of Mrs. Clark's grandfather, Joseph T. College. A large group of decendents were present pres-ent including three great-greatgrandchildren. Leta, 6, and Cordon, 8, children of Dr. and Mrs. Leland K. Cullimore of Washington, D. C, are visiting with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. iL. Cullimore. Dr. Cullimore and his jwife have been in Washington for the past enght years and have visited i only once in Utah. The children were brought here by associate doc-' doc-' tors of Mr. Cullimore and will spend their vacation here. Mrs. Amelia Burnham and Mrs. Laura Kcetch entertained at a social .Friday evening at the Kcetch home I in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Lim of Idaho, both of whom were f:rmerly of Pleasant Grove. The evening was spent in games and social chat.
