Show Cameo Theatre Talking Equipment Improved The Cameo Theatre opened its doors Sunday to again serve the public, pub-lic, after being closed for a week, during which time it underwent numerous num-erous repairs, now making the sound reproduction of their Vitaphone equipment among the best in the state. The walls and ceiling beams have been heavily coated with acoustic plaster by experts in that line of work. This improvement does away with all echo, and mellows all tones from the talking pictures. Every word can be understood, and each sound or note is audible. The plastering not only improves (he sound pictures, but adds to the general appearance as well. The rough walls give a modern touch in its two shaldes of tan, and creates a pleasant setting for theatre patrons. New red velvet drapes cover the doors, surround the organ and the theatre reception lobby. The blending blend-ing of the red arid tan creates a pleasing color harmony, and is a big improvement over the recent decorations. decora-tions. Manager miller states that he has ordered a new porous screen which will be here within the next week. This feature combined with the acoustic acous-tic improvements will make the Cameo's Vitaphone equipment as good as any in the state.
