Show Funeral Held For Mail Messenger Funeral services were held In the Timpanogos stake tabernacle Monday afternoon at 2 p. m. for Elias Pierce, who died suddenly last Friday morning. morn-ing. Counselor H. W. Jacobs was in charge of the services and musical numbers were as follows : trio, "Nearer "Near-er My God To Thee" by Maurine and Helen Gamett and Gertrude Gourley; and a vocal solo by Gertrude Gourley. The invocation was given by Junius A. West. The speakers were W. L. Hayes, C. B. Harper, Lewis Olpin, Mrs. Mary Cooper, Bishop C A. Gamett and H. W. Jacobs. A solo, "A Perfect Day" by Clarence Clar-ence Hilton and the benediction by Bishop Frank Atwood concluded the services. Interment was made in the Pleas-arid Pleas-arid Grove cemetery where the grave was dedicated by F. S. Humphries- |
