Held annually, the Crayola National Coloring Kvenl is organized to encourage children's creative abilities and recognize outstanding achievement as displayed in event entries. Brandon and Katie Emerv of Pleasant Grove have each won I'irsl prize in the 1988 Crayola National Coloring Event, and will receive a $50 shopping spree in recognition of the achievement. The entries were selected from nearly 30,000 submissions created by children ages 12 and under across the country reflecting the event's "My Favorite Wish" theme. Sweater Swing King candidates are, L-- K Brian Maughan, Daren Robinson, Justin Jacklin, Johnny Tolman, Gene Clements, Jason Giles, Darrin Henry, B.J. McAllister, Ryan VanWagoner and Nathan Hilton. Absent were Doug Eastman and Mike Johnson. PGHS Sweater Swing Dance scheduled The FHA chapter at Pleasant Grove High School is proud to announce that the Sweater Swing Dance will be held this Saturday, Jan. 28, in the girls gym at the high school. It will be held from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The theme is "Sail Away" and is girls choice. So all you girls better get a date before the good ones are all picked over. The dress will be casual and the tickets will be $6 if purchased be-fore, during lunches at the school or will be $7 at the door. Music will be by MJS and Corey Adams Photography will take the pictures for $5.50 or $8.50 a packet. There will also be an assembly on Jan. 27 to honor the Sweater SwingKingCandidates. The candi-dates include Doug Eastman , Mike Johnson, Brian Maughan, Darek Robinson, Justin Jacklin, Johnny Tolman, Gene Clements, Jason Giles, Darrin Henry, B. J. McAllis-ter, Ryan Van Wagoner, and Nathan Hilton. Don't forget that Valentines Day is coming really soon. Keep in mind that the FHA is selling Valen-tine cookies and red and white carnations so that you can order them in advance. They will be de-livered during the last period of the day on Feb. 14.
