Show Police investigate thefts, stolen artillery shells Pleasant Grove Police Officer Jay Thornton is investigating the theft of several items from a car owned by Jonathan Jenkins, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, which were taken while the vehicle was parked at the Manila Stake Center Sunday night. Taken were a Sony Discman portable valued at $200, a Cure disc rock music valued at $15, a cord adapter valued at $45, a speaker cord valued at $15, tapes valued at $510, and a canvas tape case valued val-ued at $18. There are possible suspects. Kelly Giles told Officer John Lloyd that someone had thrown a rock through a window of his house. The window is valued at $50. There are no suspects. Wade Walker reported that the back window of his pickup was broken by a rock while it was parked at Superbowl in Lindon. Damage was estimated at $150. There are no suspects. Camron Roberts reported that a bike valued at $600 had been taken from his former residence on Cherry Hill Drive. There are no suspects. Denise Winslow reported her wallet had been taken from a purse which she had left in her car while she was visiting a local business. Taken were cards and about $2 in cash. Two male adults,, ages 22 and 18, were arrested for marijuana sales on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14. The arrestsweremadeby Officers John Lloyd and Jay Thornton. . The men were picked up on warrants out of American Fork Circuit Court. A 24-year-old male was arrested for DUI and driving on suspension. The arrest was made at 200 S. State. Arresting officers were Jim Taufer, Steve Frampton and Todd Malinson. A 15-year-old m ale was arrested for marijuana sales, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia para-phernalia on Jan. 11. He was arrested ar-rested by Detectives Mike Blackhurst and Cody Cullimore. He was referred to Juvenile Court. Paul Ercanbrack reported that three saddles and saddlebags with a total value of $1,300 were taken from his horse trailer which was kept on Anderson Lane in Lindon. The thefts were reported on Jan. 9. There are no suspects. Det. Bert Bean warned those who broke into a shed owned by Oscar Evans at 817 S. Locust and took some World War I artillery shells that the shells might be very dangerous. Det. Bean said that four shells were taken. They are extremely dangerous because they are primed. Anyone with knowledge about the whereabouts of these items are urged to contact the Pleasant Grove Police Dept. A car accident was reported on Monday at 1300 W. 1100 North at 12:33 p.m. Cars driven by Eva Carson, Pleasant Grove, and Gregg Peterson, Peter-son, Orem, collided in the intersection. intersec-tion. There were no injuries. Damage to the Carson auto was set at $1,000 and there was $150 damage to the Peterson vehicle. |
