Show More police reports Pleasant Grove Police report that a 1976 Ford Elite was stolen while it was parked at the southbound south-bound reststop in Lindon last Wednesday. William R. Honeycutt, Kearns, told officers that he parked his car while he went to the restroom at the reststop. When he returned his car was gone. He stated that he had left a set of keys on the dashboard. Officer Jeff Wilson said that the car is valued at about $1,000. The victim told him that there was one other car at the reststop when he -wrived but he had not noted its make or color or the occupants. The other car was gone when he returned from the restroom, the victim told Wilson. In other police matters, officers are investigating a vehicle burglary bur-glary in which a purse with $50 in cash and various personal items was taken. The purse belonged to Tammy Mayo and was taken while her car was parked at 99 W. 400 North in Lindon. There are no suspects, according accord-ing to officer Jim Taufer. A 16-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting at Nortons. He apparently ap-parently took items valued at $ 13.24. He was referred to Juvenile Court. Officer Jim Taufer is investigating investigat-ing the theft of services from Mountain Moun-tain Fuel at a Lindon business. A few accidents with high property prop-erty damage were reported for the week. Vehicles driven by Otis Courtney Court-ney Lewis, Jerome, Idaho, and Kevin Francom, American Fork collided at 800 S. Main on Friday' According to Officer John Lloyd the semi-trailer driven by Lewis was attempting a left hand turn at 800 South and the trailer was extended ex-tended across all of the southbound ane and part of the northbound lane. Francom said he did not see the truck's trailer in time to avoid hitting hit-ting it as he was southbound. The accident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. There were no injuries.
