He , $77.45 and received a Lionel 'i aft certificate for $25. U Tressa Martin was the first place HMi placokicker, Jason Chafletz, awards autographed ball to the lucky winners in the drawing held during the awards assembly at Lindon School. Winners are (not in order shown) Sean Peterson, Kellie Cox, Christian Friden. Derek Bunker, Sean Fautin and Heather Kggett. winner, collecting pledges totaling $25H.19. She received a television as her prize. Parents and family members sponsored the students. They earned money by running laps, reading books or completing math problems. The PTA provided 10 volunteers a day to monitor the commitments. Parents were very supportive of the program. All students who contributed pledges of $10 or more were eligible for the prize drawing. Jason autographed balls for the winners. Sean Peterson, Kellie Cox, Christian Friden and Derek Bunker all received mini-balls. Sean Fautin received a four-square ball and Heather Eggett received an autographed football. Principal Eugene Maag was proud of the students for obtaining pledges and collecting for the work done. The idea was put together and coordinated by Eva Ercanbrack. The title was selected as it was because the funds raised will go towards air conditioning. They earned $4,300 using the direct approach to fundraising. They topped last year's wrapping paper sales and are now about one-half one-half way through the school with the cooling system. Eva stated the parents were very supportive of the iiind raising effort. |
