Key Club donates money to library Members of the Pleasant Grove High School Key Club presented $250 to Mayor David Holdaway last week at City Council meeting. The money is to be used for the new library. The students had raised the money by holding a dance and selling ice cream cones at Nortons. The mayor accepted the money in behalf of the city and told the students that the new library will be a real asset to them and they should be the ones who will benefit most from it. He encouraged them to use the new library as often as they can. He thanked them for their interest in the community and their support of the library. Those making the presentation were Janilyn Patch, secretary, and Lisa Mattinson, president. David Bezzant, another officer, and the faculty advisors to the group were also present. |
