Knotts j Vera Webb Douglas Joseph Knotts, three-day-ol- d infant son of Joseph Glen and Nanalie Dee Adams Knotts of Spanish Fork died Tuesday, June 16, 1987 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center from heart problems. He was born June 13, 1987 at Orem Com-munity Hospital. Survivors include his parents of Spanish Fork, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence D. Knotts, Spanish Fork, Mrs. Mary C. Adams, Pleasnt n?sCededJ" & Douglasl.,;, Graveside were held PYHi 19. at ii J'.jJ Spanish Cemetery. Lovetta A. Slade She belonged to the Alice Louise Reynolds Literary Club. Survivors include her husband of Twin Falls, Idaho; two sons: Dwayne R. Petersen, Grand Junction, Colo.; Monte J. Petersen, Layton; 10 grand-children; 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Dr. Dale A. Petersen. Services were held Saturday, June 27, at Berg Drawing Room Chapel, Provo. Burial was in the Provo City Cemetery. Derlin Earl Griffin Vera Cleora Overlade Petersen Brumnjak Webb, 91, of American Fork, died Wednesday, June 24, 1987 in American Fork of causes incident to age. She was born Aug. 30, 1895 in Emery to An-drew and Mary An-dersen Overlade. She married Raymond Petersen June 27, 1917 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 5, 1935. She married Antone Brumnjak Oct. 22, 1937 in Provo. He died Oct. 18, 1963. She married George Webb March 19, 1981 in the Provo LDS Temple. She moved to Provo as a young child and received her education in the Provo City schools. She had worked as a cook and baker at Keeley's and several other establishments. She has lived her adult life in Provo. She was a member of the LDS Church, the old Bonneville Ward, where she served as an organist, playing at many funerals. She also served as Relief Society president and in other leadership positions. Lovetta Linnea An-derson Slade, 77, of Provo, died Wednesday, June 24, 1987 at her home of an illness from causes incident to age. She was born Jan. 21, 1910 in Pleasant Grove to Swen Olaf and Erika Mathilda Peterson Anderson. She married Francis B. Slade June 6, 1934 in the Salt Lake Provo three years ago. She was an active member of the LDS Church, Provo 15th Ward. She and her husband served two LDS missions, one is Saskatchewan, Canada and one in Winnipeg, Canada. She has also worked in all the auxiliaries of the church and also taught Ariz.; Mrs. Wayne (Loraine) Thorpe, Higley, Ariz.; LeGrand Slade, Gallup, N.M.; Brent Slade, Fort Collins, Colo.; Jared Slade, Hyrum; Lowell D. Slade, Modesto, Calif.; Mrs. Kenneth (Gloria) Decker, Mancos, Colo.; 82 grandchildren; nine ereat grandchildren; Derlin Earl Griffin, 69, died June 22, 1987. He was born Nov. 11, 1917 in Salt Lake City to LeRoy and Elizabeth Unck Griffin. He married LaRue Duckworth, who preceded him in death, along with two children. He married Beuhla Long. He was a member of the LDS Church. Schoelkopf LDS Temple. She received her education in Pleasant Grove, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School. She had also attended B.Y. Academy for one year. Following her marriage, she and her husband made their firsts home in Redmesa Colo., where they lived for 48 years. She helped her husband on their farm while in Redmesa. Later they moved to Lindon and then to seminary in Redmesa, Colo. Survivors include her husband of Provo; six sons, six daughters: Mrs. Ronald L. (Christine) Gillen, Redmesa, Colo.; Larry M. Slade, Hyrum; Nancy Lovejoy, Lin-don; Mrs. Joe D. (Rosalie) England, Tooele; F. Sheldon Slade, Redmesa, Colo.; Mrs. Gilbert (Elaine) Sabin, Pomerene, one brother, one sister: Carl Anderson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. BUI (Olive) Heckmann, Bountiful. She was preceded in death by two infant children, two brothers and two sisters. Services were held Saturday, June 27, in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, Provo. Burial was in Redmesa Cemetery, Redmesa, Colo We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many friends, neighbors and family members for all the expressions of sym-pathy and love shown us at the death of our beloved son and brother, Joseph Calton. Thorne Wathen Thank You Mona F. Iverson Schoelkopf, age 81 of Orem, died Monday, June 29, 1987 at her home of causes incident to age. She was born Nov. 12, 1905 in Maeser, Utah to Christopher W. and Margret Howard Miller Iverson. She married Henry Floyd Anderson April 12, 1923. He died April 16, 1978. She later married Cecil F. Schoelkopf who died April 4, 1986. She was a member of the LDS Church, lived most of her life in Duchesne; Renee Anderson, Orem; Vaudis Woodall, Claremont, Calif.; step-children, Rose Holmes, Claremont, Calif.; and Bob Schoelkopf, LaFayette, Calif. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 1987 at 10 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until service. Burial will be in the Santaquin City Cemetery. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Jesse K. Thorne, 77, of Pleasant Grove, died Monday, June 29, 1987 in a Salt Lake hospital of conjestive heart failure. He was born Oct. 19, 1909 in Lindon, to David Benjamin and Eva Keetch Thorne. He married Leda Pauline Hanson Feb. 21, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 2nd Ward, holding the office of High Priest. He had served a mission to the Netherlands in 1932 and 1933. He had served as bishop of the Lindon Ward and was ward clerk of the Lindon r Ward and the Pleasant Grove 2nd Ward. He had served on the city councils of Pleasant Grove and Lindon and was mayor of Lindon. He had been em- - ' ployed as an accountant at Geneva Steel. He is survived by his Wilma Bud Colledge, Tooele; Mrs. Albert (Paulina) Devey, Alhambra, Calif.; Mrs. Ralph (Lillian) Julian, American Fork; Perry Corbridge, Magna; Theron Corbridge, Lehi. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, at 11 a.m. in the Orem 59th LDS Ward Chapel, 1050 N. 600 West. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpi- n Mortuary, 495 S. State, Orem" and Thursday one hour prior to service at the ward chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Rosely Ray Graff Alvin John Obb Colledge, 73, of Orem, died Saturday, June 27, 1987 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo of heart failure. He was born Feb. 10, 1914 in Lehi to Charles Thomas and Ethel Hensen Colledge. He married Inez Walker Oct. 7, 1935 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized June 23, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He grew up in Lehi and worked in the Baur Mines at Tooele and the Mercur , Mines. He worked in the Coke Plant Division for 30 years at U.S. Geneva before retiring in July 1975. He was a member of the Steelworkers Union and managed two fruit farms in Orem for many years. He loved music and sports. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church and had served as a home teacher for several years. He is survived by his wife of Orem; four daughters: Mrs. J.P. (Connie) Grim, Davis, Calif.; Mrs. Howard L. (Dixie) Carpenter, Jr.; Mrs. Doyle L. (June) Carpenter; Mrs. Kenneth J. (LeeA ,n) Kindle, all of Pleasant Grove; 16 grand-children; six great grandchildren; one brother, two sisters and two step-brother- s: fi'fl v- - - l s - .. .... ... Rosely Ray Graff, 36, of Kent, Wash., died Tuesday, June 23, 1987 in Walla Walla, Wash, of injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born Sept. 17, 1950 in Lehi to Max and Ruby Ray. She married William E. Graff June 20, 1969 in Lehi. She graduated from Lehi High School and attended college at Utah State. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in all organizations. She is survived by her Wash. One son, LaMar Max, preceded her in death; her parents, Lehi; three brothers and five sisters: San-dra, Maxine, Suzanne, Clarissa, Lehi; Steven, Denver, Colo; Nancy, Orem; Larry and Gordon, Sandy; her grandmother, Clarissa Bone, Lehi. Funeral services were held June 27 in the Kent LDS 7th Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Mt.
