Show I police investigate vandalism pleasant Grove police officers investigated two incidents of s; maiibox vandalism this past week. Bonnie Hansen, 494 N. 200 East, l'f yndon, reported that her $30 mailbox had been damaged. Bar's Bar-'s bara Wilkinson, 211 E. 400 North, iS; Lindon, reported that three 1 1 mailboxes, located near each other, had all been damaged. They were valued at $200. Sgt. Steve Frampton investigated. & There are no suspects at this time. Officer Jim Taufer investigated damage to a vehicle parked at 292 S. State, Lindon. The owner said that he had left his car parked at this Kr- address and when he returned the front and rear windows had been ; 5 broken out by a rock. Damage was listed at $225. Parents told police they will take ""' care of a situation where the rear window of a vehicle was shot out by BB guns. The window was valued at $200. Keith Fullmer, 891 N. 300 West, reported that obscene words had been written on the windows and paint was scratched on two of his vehicles. The damage was set at $400 to each car. There are no suspects. Nicea Muse, Orem, reported that a Schwinn bike valued at $150 had been taken from Lindon Park. Officer Of-ficer Jay Thornton is investigating. Faye Belliston, Pleasant Grove, reported that $34 had been taken from her purse which she had left in her car while she visited a friend at 295 N. 100 East. The purse was returned but the money was missing. Officer John Lloyd took the report. A Utah County truck backed into a parked Dipaolo and Rossetti truck on the Murdock Canal Road. There were no injuries. Damage to the county truck was set at $400 and there was $1,200 damage to the DiPaolo and Rossetti truck. Sgt. Frampton investigated another accident on the Canal Road where a 1977 Datsun pickup, which had been pulling some water skiers on the canal, left the road and rolled over. David G. Hall, American Fork, was the driver of the truck. There was one passenger in the back of the truck. Pleasant Grove Ambulance crews administered first aid at the scene. No one was transported to the hospital. Damage to the truck was listed at $1,500. Pleasant Grove Police Dept. personnel reminded the public that it is illegal as well as dangerous to waterski on the canal. |
