Show 'April Ann' opens Friday at PG's Valley Playhouse ': :. ; Wi i: : , t - -A -, A well accepted, popular comedy returns to the Valley Center Playhouse, 780 N. 200 East, Lindon, when April Ann opens April 17. It will play every Friday, Saturday and Monday at 8 p.m. through May 25. Ma and Pa Pichard (Melva and Melvin Taylor) have raised their children (Camille McHendrick, Kristy Sorensen, and Mike Ren-strom) Ren-strom) in the wilds of Canada. They are rather unschooled in the ways of people and April Ann (Michelle Clawson) has never seen a m an. Never, until a lumberjack and a pilot (Brad Graff and Jerry Ferguson) come knocking at the door. The resulting love triangle promises an evening of entertainment en-tertainment and delight for the whole family. Those who have become familiar with the works of the Valley Center Playhouse will recognize the members of the cast as people worth seeing again. Those who are new to this audience are in for a treat of acting and singing to match any in the valley. Leading lady, Michelle Clauson was Miss Seveir County and has sung on radio and T.V. Brad Graff can be heard each year at the City of Joseph Pageant in Nauvoo, 111., and Melva Taylor and Jerry Ferguson were nominated for Best Performers by Utah County Drama Guild for their same roles in April Ann in 1985. To find the Playhouse, turn right off State Street in Orem at 2000 North, drive one block and turn left. Then continue 1 mile to the Playhouse.
