Show Parks Supt. reveals summer ballpa rodeo grounds rules and regulations As the summer softball and baseball season approaches, the use of the various parks in Pleasant Grove City will increase considerably con-siderably the next six months. Because of problems in the past with unauthorized vehicles driving into the ballfields at Battlecreek Park, only special city vehicles and those who have been issued parking passes, such as concession stand operators and league directors, will be allowed to drive into the park. All others will be issued a ticket by the Department of Public Safety. Bill Hoglund, Superintendent of Parks and Recreation has indicated that during the course of the year that considerable damage has been done to the turf and the trees my mortorized vehicles driving into the park. He also said that there is great concern by him and the police concerning the danger that this is posing to children in the park as cars and motor bikes are illegally entering en-tering the park. The park is closed to unauthorized motor vehicles such as cars, trucks, vans and any kind of motorized bikes. Bill also reminds everyone that there is a city ordinance that makes all alcoholic beverages illegal in all parks. This includes the bajw Battlecreek, Shannon fields1 Rodeo Grounds.
