Show ' A.F. Hospital volunteers invited to mini-convention If you have time on your hands, call LaRae Greenwood at the hospital and see about joining the volunteers. On Sept. 23-25, 17 volunteers from the American Fork Hospital .Auxiliary joined other volunteers from around the state at the fall convention in St. George. The theme for the convention was, "Volunteers, the Strength of America." They enjoyed informative speakers and workshops. The worth of volunteers in Utah is estimated at ! $5,128,821. beginning at 11 a.m. Stop by and have a scone and a bowl of homemade -chili for $1,.50 or buy it by the quart for $2 to take deer hunting with you. All of the volunteers are invited to attend a mini-convention to be held Monday, Oct. 19, in the auditorium. It will begin at 10 a.m. with a report on the convention followed by a luncheon. Please RSVP to extension 440 at the hospital before Oct. 12. The American Fork Hospital Volunteers are keeping very busy these days getting ready for their annual bazaar. It will be held on Nov. 6 in the hospital auditorium. They have been making items all year. Come do your holiday shopping shop-ping at the Pink Ladies Bazaar. They are really enjoying the new Pink Shop and Snack Bar at the hospital. They will be featuring chili and scones Thursday, Oct. 15, |
