Show Don and Ruth Deveraux to celebrate Golden Wedding Day M...uPU-)ltiJI iu.imn Don R. and Ruth B. Deveraux will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary an-niversary Thursday, Oct. 15. TTey will be honored by their family at a dinner Thursday evening. The couple were married Oct. 15, 1937 in Salt Lake City. Don and Ruth have lived in American Fork all of their married life. Don attended school in Pleasant Grove. He helped organize and worked for many years on the American Fork Riding Club Arena. Don has been involved with cattle and horses his entire life. He now enjoys retirement after working at ! Geneva Steel for 32 years. Ruth graduated from American Fork High School and seminary. In high school she was active in drama and public speaking. Prior to marriage she worked at Nye and Nissen Processing Plant and Utah Poultry. After her marriage she returned to work for 16 years. She is a former Pink Lady at American Fork Hospital. Ruth is active in the LDS Church and enjoys visiting teaching and doing temple work. They are the parents of two sons, Lynn B. Deveraux (deceased) and Don Michael Deveraux, American Fork.
