Show Hansen Mountaineering plans special course on 72-hour survival At Hansen Mountaineering, Inc. they get asked many questions about items for 72 Hour Survival Kits. In talking with people they have found a lack of knowledge and understanding of this type of survival sur-vival situation and equipment that is needed. Some have put tablet fuel stoves in their 72 hour kits. The problem with this type of stove is that they will hardly warm a cup of hot chocolate, let alone boil water to purify it or cook on. This situation and others have led them to develop a Special 72 Hour Survival Course. Below is a brief outline of the things that will be covered. This course is highly recommended for all. Early registration is a must to insure a spot, the number of participants is limited. This course is specially designed to teach the root skills required during any survival situation. A 72 hour survival kit is good, but only as good as your ability to make the best of a bad situation.
