Stratton, American Fork, and Derek R. Anderson, son of Gwen M. and Rulon J. Anderson of Pleasant Grove, have chosen Friday, Dec. 12, to be sealed for time and eternity in the Jordan River LDS Temple. There will be an open house that same evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at 34 N. 775 East, American Fork. The maid of honor will be Debbie Barney and the best man will be Scott Christiansen. Tammy is a graduate of American Fork High School and LDS Seminary. She is now at-tending the American University of Cosmetology. Derek is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. He works in Orem. Derek R. Anderson Tammy Stratton R. Craig Hilton to claim Sharon L. Hansen as bride Sharon Lourie Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl D. Hansen, American Fork, will marry R. Craig Hilton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Hilton, Pleasant Grove, Wednesday, Dec. 17. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the American Fork West Stake Center, 165 N. 350 West. The event is open to all friends and relatives. Attending the bride will be Melinda Hansen, Shauna' Strong, Robyn Stoneman, Tammie Wood and Lynita Durrant. Best men will be Jason Allred and John Steele. The bride-ele- graduated from American Fork High School. She attended Utah Technical College and Utah State University. She is presently employed at Novell Inc. in Provo. Her fiance graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and attended Southern Utah State College on a football scholarship. He served an LDS mission to Melbourne, Australia. He is presently employed with R.J. Ellis and Co. in American Fork. The couple will make their first home in Pleasant Grove. R. Craig Hilton Sharon Lourie Hansen Christmas tree permits available Christmas tree permits are still available at all Division of Wildlife Resources regional offices. Trees may be taken for family use with a limit of one tree ' per family. Permits cost $3. Trees may be harvested in the Red Creek, Rabbit Gulch and Skitzv Canyon areas of Duchesne Countv and south of Manti on the Mayfield property. All these properties are owned by the Division of Wildlife Resources and managed as winter range for big game animals and livestock. Don Christensen, Lands Specialist for the Division, says that pinion ' pine is the predominant tree on all -- four properties. He recommends the Mayfield area because the selection of trees is better there. For more information concerning the cutting of trees for family use call any Division of Wildlife Resources office. Gayle Judd honored for service by state PTA Gayle Judd, Pleasant Grove, was presented an engraved silver platter at a recent State PTA Board meeting for serving as president of Young Audiences of Utah during 1984-198- 6. Dr. Avery Glenn, a member of the board of Young Audiences of Utah and also the music curriculum supervisor for the State Office of Education, made the presentation. He thanked Mrs. Judd for her ef-forts and serving as president of the organization. Mrs. Judd also served as State PTA president during 1981 through 1983. Gayle Judd PTSA plans stag or drag Christmas Dance at Rec. Center The Pleasant Grove High School PTSA is sponsoring a Christmas Dance on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Community Center. This dance will be best dress. It is either stag or date. Music will be by M.J.S. Pictures will be taken by the Cory Adams Studio. The cost of admission to the dance is $2.50 per person or $5 per couple. Adventureland Video stores offer 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway for local customers Every day during the 12 days before Christmas, Adventureland Video of Pleasant Grove and Lindon will be offering prizes to their customers. Called the Adventureland 12 Days of Christmas, the contest begins Dec. 10 and continues through Dec. 24. On the last day the company will give away a brand new VCR from each store as the grand prize. Second prize will be a six foot tall stocking filled with surprizes. The gifts for the 12 Days of Christmas are on display at the stores. On Dec. 10 a movie will be given away; on Dec. 11 it will be an indoor golf game; Dec. 12, Power Bots; Dec. 13, Tipee Doll; Dec. 15, movie; Dec. 16, Big Foot; Dec. 17, Roboter; Dec. 18, 20 movie card; Dec. 19, surprise gift; Dec. 20, movie; Dec. 22, Barbie; and Dec. 23, Wrestling doll.
