He was born Dec. 26, 1935 in Mapleton to Adelbert Jr. and Lucy Ann Richardson Roundy. He married Gwen .Nielson Oct. 14, 1960 in Ely, Nev. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was supervisor at the Utah State Prison for 25 years. Survivors include his wife of Salt Lake City; two sons, one daughter: Edward Roundy and Mrs. Tod (Shelley) Powell, both Salt Lake City; Trent Roundy, American Fork; two grandchildren; his mother of Mapleton; three sisters and two brothers: Don A. Roundy and Theo "Punk" Roundy, both Mapleton; Mrs. Paul (Josie) Brailsford, Springville; Mrs. Clarence (Anna Dell) Holm and Mrs. Elmo (LaPreal) Hansen, both of Spanish Fork. Graveside services were held Friday, August 1, at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville. Military graveside rites were conducted by the VFW District 4. " He was the first chief of police for Orem City. He was deputy sheriff of Utah County and later chief deputy U.S. Marshal. He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; a son and two daughters: Stanley Hanson, Orem; Mrs. Roger (Donna) Hardy, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Ray (Linda) Kelsey, Sandy; 13 grand-children; 26 great grandchildren; a sister, Emily Munroe, Provo. He was preceded in death by a son, Leon. Services were under the direction of Bishop Robert Aland of the Pleasant Grove Third Ward. Pallbearers were Stanley Hanson, Tony Kelsey, Rick Kelsey, Leon Kelsey, Alan Hardy, George Hardy, David Hardy and Michael Hanson. The family prayer was given by Marvin McClure. Paul Smith played the prelude and the postlude. The in-vocation was by Wilford Durrant. Marsha McClure gave the life sketch. Karen Asay, Beverly Yocom, Janey Hardy and Doris Baker sang "Oh How I Miss You Tonight," accompanied by Paul Smith. Robert Secretan was the speaker. Remarks were given by Bishop Aland. David Hardy gave the benediction. The grave was dedicated by Dan Simper. LAWRENCE, UTAH -- Julia Faye Wanlass Fenn, age 68, died July 24, 1986, in Price, Utah. She was born July 12, 1918, in Lehi, Utah, to Jackson Charles and Ellen Thomas Wanlass. She married Max Jay Fenn on Oct. 23, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She was a secretary in the stake Primary for many years. She loved her family very much and had dedicated her life to them. Survivors include: husband, Max, Lawrence, Utah; children: Mrs. Steve (Maxine) Deeter, LaSalle, Utah; Mrs. John (Sharon) Poulson, Kaysville; Michael Jay Fenn, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Blake (Julie) Smith, Cleveland, Utah; Karon Lee Mack, Huntington, Utah; 11 grandchildren; brothe-rs, Athol Wanlass, San Pablo, Calif.; Marion L. Wanlass, Rodeo, Calif.; Glen Wanlass, Lehi; She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. Funeral services were held Monday, July 28 in the Huntington LDS Stake Center. Robinson, Mark Johnson, Troy Robinson and Scott Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were David Johnson, Gary V. Tomlinson, ' Nathan Johnson, Robert E. Walker, Glade Johnson, Alvin Kirk, Byron Johnson, Jack Kirk and Clarence Kirkwood. The family prayer was by Gary V. Tomlinson. Diana Tolson played the prelude and the postlude. Clarence Kirkwood gave the invocation. Phyllis Murdock performed "You'll Never Walk Alone," accompanied by Cindy Anderson. Kay J. Robinson gave A Tribute to Daddy. The speaker was Glenn Miller. Phyllis Murdock sang "Going Home," accompanied by Cindy Anderson. Bishop Christensen gave remarks. The benediction was by Glade Johnson. The grave was dedicated by Glade Johnson. Mary F. She was a member of the Payson CultusClub. She was a member of the LDS Church. She had lived in the Payson community since 1905. 'Life With Father' comes to Valley Center "Life With Father" one of Broadway's longest running comedys will be Valley Center Playhouse's August Production. It will open Aug. 8 and run every Friday, Saturday and Monday at 8 p.m. through Sept. 1 at the Lindon location, 780 N. 200 East. The leading roles will be played by Jody Renstrom, owner and manager of the theatre and Bill Brown of Bill Brown Realty. Jody Renstrom, mother in the play is well known for her two one-wom-shows on Emma Smith and Mary, the mother of the Savior, and has traveled extensively per-forming them the past seven years. Bill Brown has a background of performing in theatre while in college. He is returning to com munity theatre after many years absence to play the part of father, one of the largest roles ever written. The show is directed by Rosemarie Liberto, theatre acting workshop instructor. Miss Liberto was a professional actress in New York for five years and has studied under some of the best teachers in that area. The cast includes George Goodenough, Mike Renstrom, Tyler Lysager, Chad Robertson, Charilla Gillet, Fawni Bristol, Keith Ren-strom, James Allred, Maureen Eastwood, Lisa Nuttall, Ben Muldur, Leslie Robertson and Melissa Brown. A class is being offered Aug. 11-1- at 240 N. Center, No. 2, American Fork. The class will be for 2V2 hours, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. . Registration will 'be. on Aug. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the same ad-dress. Instructors are David and Yvonne Adams. The registration fee is $10. Class size will be limited so hurry an be among the first to register. A merit badge can also be completed by taking the class.
