Show Fourth Ward team wins fitness title , - ) V ' ' .V. J' r v. ' r ' . ... ' .. .. '. " ' . ' ' 1 '' ' I.-'.' . i.lf A -'J u , v . , i .: Paul Hanson, 8, son of Doug and Ruth Ann Hanson; Jared Passmore, 9, son of Steve and Elizabeth Passmore; and Luke Nehring, 10, son of Carson and Karin Nehring, comprise the winning team for Timpanogos Stake Cub Scout Physical Fitness Day, held Aug. 2. The team is from the Pleasant Grove 4th Ward, and will represent their stake at the district event Aug. 16. The boys competed in five events: sit-ups,. push-ups, standing long jump, softball throw and 50-yard dash. They each received a medallion. The individual medallion winners for the three age groups were from the 2nd Ward, Destry Cole Cobbley, Kimball Lyman and Cory Winder; 3rd Ward, Jeremy Algers, Adam Hardy and John Shepherd; 16th Ward, Burke Craghead, Rocky Smart and Tyler Craghead. Every boy who participated received a ribbon and a certificate. The scorekeepers were Primary stake president Jill Bigelow, Cub commissioner Karen Johnson, High Council advisor Duane Woodard and former High Council advisor Keith Sterling. The event was sponsored by the Timpanogos Stake Primary under the direction of Thiele A. Roberts.
