Show Pvt. Ronald Calhoun completes Army unit training Pvt. Ronald S. Calhoun, son of Roy and Beth P. Calhoun of 1178 West 341 South, Lindon, has completed com-pleted one station unit training (OSUT) at the U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Ga. OSUT is a 12-week period which combines basic combat training and advanced individual training. The training included weapons qualifications, squad tactics, patrolling, landmine warfare, field communications and combat operations. Completion of this course qualifies the soldier as a light-weapons infantryman and as an indirect-fire crewman. i Soldiers were taught to perform I any of the duties in a rifle or mortar ! squad. He is a 1985 graduate of Payson I High School. I I |
