Country Nail, Gift Shoppe opens By KALYN SECRETAN The Country Nail and Gift Shoppe has opened in downtown Pleasant Grove. It is located on Center Street just above Main Street. The building has been beautifully decorated and owners Jennie Carlson and Clara Waters specialize in acrylic and solar nails. Both Mrs. Waters and Mrs. ' Carlson received training at the Professional Nail Academy. During the past two or three years, the new nail process has gained popularity. Customers can file nails as usual as the natural nail grows, polish stays on a month at a time. It doesn't come off as easily as regular nails. It takes a little getting used to, but patrons find you can do anything you want with the sudden addition of longer nails. Customers come in every two or three weeks to have their nails filled. The Gift Shoppe was added as a sideline. Beautiful hand-painte- d ceramics and home decorations are available. All kinds of nail and hair care products are offered for sale. Both Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Watters attended classes in ceramics and plasterware. Downtown shoppers are encouraged to stop by, get acquainted and browse through the gift selections available.
