Show Q obituaries J Dr. Donald S. Coleman Dr. Donald S. Coleman, 42, of Pleasant Grove, died Saturday, July 20, 1985 at his home of causes to be determined by the Utah State Medical Examiner. He was born April 24, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin a son of Donald Loyd and Loretta Sloan Coleman. He married Yvonne Royster, October 30, 1975 in Bay City, Texas. The marriage was later solomized in the Mesa LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church living in Ihe Pleasant Grove 11th Ward holding the office of Elder. He was presently serving as president of the Young Mens organization. He attended schools in Chicago, Houston and the Northwestern University Medical School. He did his residency in Surgery and anesthesology at Baylor University, Houston, Texas. Survivors include his wife of Pleasant Grove; two sons and three daughters: Christy Cadenhead, Janet Coleman, Donald Coleman, Julie Coleman and Robert Coleman, all of Pleasant Grove; a foster daughter; Alejandra Vera, California Arcadia Mission; his parents of Sun City, Arizona; a sister Caroline Carlson, Elmhurst, Illinois. Funeral services were held Monday, July 22, at the Pleasant Grove 11th Ward. Additional services will be Thursday in Bay City, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary Pleasant Grove. Adell Olsen Hancock Adell Olsen Hancock, age 58, born March 23, 1927, died of cancer July 18, 1985, in American Fork. She was the daughter of Edna May Despain Olsen and Ole Christopher Olsen, born in Lovell, Bighorn County, Wyo. She was a talented musician, a gifted writer and mother and wife. She lived in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah during her life, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Clem Slade Hancock December 25, 1947. That marriage was solemnized solem-nized in the St. George Temple in January 1948. She is survived by her mother, Edna May Olsen, Lovell, Wyo.; her husband, Clem Slade Hancock, Salt Lake City; three brothers, Darwin Olsen, San Diego, Calif.; Bob Olsen, Pasco, Wash.; and Glen Olsen, Rota, Spain; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Nay, 1 Mercede, Calif. ;and four children, Lynn Hancock, Farminglon, Utah; Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Morrey, American Fork; Bryan Christopher Hancock, Washington D.C.; and Capt. Darrell Hancock, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho; and 13 grandchildren. grand-children. A graveside service for the immediate family was held Tuesday, July 23, at the American Fork City Cemetery. |
