She said some of the familys' ancestors came across the plains in hand carts. She explained John Solomon Fullmer came over on ship from Glasgow in 1738, settling in Penn-sylvania. The family came west with the pioneers, and Mr. Fullmer was with Joseph Smith the night before he was killed. John S. Fullmer, Jr., was born in 1846 while the family was still in Nauvoo, 111. Upon coming to Utah, they were early settlers of Panquitch. Gathered for the reunion were Mrs. Bill (Maxine) Sheen, Fallon, Nevada; Mrs. Charles (Monta) Reid, Springville; Mrs. Bill (Erma) Nelson and Mrs. Jeanene Leftwich, Orem; Mrs. Joe (Lena) Peterson, Magna; Mrs. Curtis (Fay) Chip-ma- American Fork; Mrs. Shirley Lehr, Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Melvin (Dona) Hammatt, Great Falls, Mont.; Mrs. Reed (Larraine) Orion, Birdseye; Mrs. Merlon (Connie) Harward, Payson. The four boys in the family are Clay, Phoenix, Ariz.; Ralph and Mark, Provo; and Virl, American Fork. Three were on hand for the reunion. "One son plus Mom and Dad are deceased," Mrs. Chipman said.
