He was born Sept. 11, 1917 in Fayette, Sanpete San-pete Co., Utah, to Joseph Merrill and Lilly Watts Mellor. He married La Dean Sherwood June 21, 1941 in the Manti LDS i Temple. He was a self-' self-' employed building contractor. He served in the LDS Church as a home teacher and as secretary of the High Priest's Quorum. and Marsha Mellor, Lehi; two daughters: Mrs. Kenton (Mary) Jean Gardner, Magna; and Mrs. Arland ( Karen ) Kester, Cheyenne, Wyo. ; 17 grandchildren; brothers brothe-rs and sisters: Max Mellor, Fayette; Mrs. EE. (Lila) Lind, Torrance, Calif.; and Mrs. Clem (Vera) Wankier, Levan. Funeral services were held Monday, March 25, at 1 p.m. in the Lehi lst-6th-16th Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of Lehi; three sons and their wives, Stephen Paul and Edie Mellor, R e x b u r g , Idaho; LaVon Sherwood and Ronnie Mellor, Moroni; Lynn Merrill Alan Gary Cossey . Alan Gary Cossey; 33, of Pleasant Grove, Utah died March 24, 1985 at the American Fork j Hospital. I He was born August 12, 1951 in American Fork a son of Floyd E. and Faye Jones Cossey. He was a member of the LDS Church living in the Pleasant Grove 15th Ward. He had been employed em-ployed at Deseret Industries In-dustries for the past 15 years. Survivors include his father, Pleasant Grove; a brother Larry Floyd Cossey, Pleasant Grove and a grandmother, Mrs. Ada Cossey, Pleasant Grove. His mother died August 24, 1984. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove 15th Ward Chapel, 800 North at 100 West. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Russell Alan Story Russell Alan Story, 12-day-old son of Robert Ron and Debra Brim Story, died Tuesday, March 19, 1985, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Provo. He was born March 7, 1985, at Provo. His parents are members of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 19th Ward. Survivors include his parents of Pleasant Grove; one brother and one sister: Carly and Jake Story, both of Pleasant Grove; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Story, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brim, Provo; and Pearl Creviston, Provo. Graveside services ser-vices were held Friday at Orem City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. William L. Clements ! . ! William L. (Clem) Clements, 68, American Fork, died Thursday, March 21, 1985 in the American Fork Hospital of heart failure. He was born Feb. 4, 1917 in American Fork, to Joseph Edward and Anna Maria Christensen Gibbs Clements. He married Laura Alice Ashton, Aug. 9, 1937 in American Fork. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a Cinter Burner Operator at U.S. Steel, Geneva Works, and was active in the LDS Church where he wife of American Fork; two sons and three daughters: Larry LaMar Clements, Pleasant Grove; Joel William Clements, American Fork; Mrs. Dale (Mary Ellen) Spencer, Kanab; Mrs. Kendall (Thyra) Durrant, and Mrs. Kent (Julia) Flowers, both of Orem; 17 grandchildren; grand-children; two sisters: Mrs. Leland (Berta) Wilson and Mrs. Niel (Melba) Wilson, both of Richfield. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 23, in the American Fork 6th Ward Chapel. He was a High Priest at the time of his death. He is survived by his Eldon G. Westover Eldon G. Westover, 78, Pleasant Grove, died Thursday, March 21, 1985, at American Fork Hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1907 in Huntington, to George H. and Alice Ann Lenord Westover. He married Daphne Cook Fowles June., 8, 1932 at Farmington. He attended school in Huntington. He at tended BYU, where he received a bachelor's degree. He taught at North Emery High School from 1934 to 1940. He moved to Pleasant Grove in 1941 and taught industrial arts at Pleasant Grove High School until his retirement in 1968. Survivors include his wife of Pleasant Grove; three sons: Jack L. Westover, Aurora, Colo.; Udell Westover, Orem; and Keith Westover, Provo; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters: Roxie Nelson and Eva Conover, both of Ferron. Services were held Monday, March 25, at Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Mary Jane W. Johnson Mary Jane Whittle Johnson, 86 of Pleasant Grove died Sunday, March 24, 1985 at the home of a daughter in Pleasant Grove. She was born April 30, 1898 in Bonanza Bar, Idaho, a daughter of Edwin B. and Adeline Eliza Doty Whittle. She married Leander Calvin Johnson on December 23, 1923 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died January 7, 1937. She was an active member of the LDS Church living in the , Pleasant Grove 11th Ward. She had served a Stake Mission; was active in Genealogy work; a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed handiwork and had won awards for her craft. She taught school prior to her marriage. Survivors include two sons and two daughters: J. Calvin Johnson, Hayward, Calif.; Andy Woodruff Johnson, Arrora Grande, Calif.; Mrs. Harry (Renona) Candland. Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Elden E. (11a June) Fames, Wright, Wyoming; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two sons, Edwin Duane and Marvin Leander preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove 11th Ward Chapel, 400 East at 200 North. Friends may call on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will bc'ih the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
