Public Works Director Frank Mills told the Pleasant Grove City Council Tuesday that no major flooding is expected in the city this spring but mud flows are a possibility. The soil is more saturated than ever before and land slides are deemed possible. Frank suggeted that in order to conserve heat during the winter at the city library, that the porch be glassed in on the sides and a glass door be installed at the top of the steps. He said this would help to keep the cold air out and also provide a place for patrons to wipe their feet before they entered the building. The director also noted that Utah Power and Light needed to know what the city wanted done about the poles on Main Street which do not have lights.
