He was born Oct. 25, 1925 in Weldona, Colo., to William and Ethel Bullington McKinley. He married Florence Beveridge March 11, 1949 in Salt Lake City. He graduated from Fruita High School in Colorado. He worked for the D&RG Railroad and later for Geneva Steel as an electrician for 30 years.
