Services were Saturday, Feb. 25, at Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. Burial was at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. John S. Holten, 82, American Fork, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 1985 at a Provo hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1903 in Shannon, Calif., to James Enos and Florence Bell Shank Holten. He married Elizabeth H. Burns on May 8. 1931 in San Luis Obispo, Calif. He was a railroad worker, was employed with the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield, and most recently worked at Walker Welding and Construction in Pleasant Grove. He was a veteran of World War II. Ft - ' I : Dale Clyde Durrant, ; 69, American Fork, died Friday, Feb. 25, 1985 at American Fork. He was born May 2, 1915 at American Fork to Clyde E. and Grace Losee Durrant. He was an employee of American Fork City for years. He lived in American Fork all his life, except while in the service. He was a member of the American Fork 18th member of the Elders Quorum. He is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Mable D. Hansen, Glen L. Durrant and Wayne L. Durrant, all American Fork, and Mrs. Arnell N. (Carol) Christensen, Orem. Services were Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the American Fork 18th Ward. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. Lillian II. Crabb Ward, where he was a Colleen Marrott Itoundy Lillian Hansen Crabb, 86, Lehi, died of causes incident to age Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Feb. 20, 1985 in Lehi. She was born Aug. 20, 1898 in Lehi to Niels Christian and Johanna Kristensen Hansen. She married Thomas Nevin Crabb on Jan. 24, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Nov. 18, 1946. She worked as manager of the school lunch program at Lehi's Sego Elementary School. She also worked alZCMI. As a member of the LDS Church, she served in the Relief Society women's organization. Survivors include a son and two daughters: Nevin Lee Crabb, Orem; Mrs. Delbert ; (Jean) Page, Riverton; I and Marjorie Orgill, ; Draper; eight grand- children and 12 great grandchildren; a brother and sister: James Hansen, South I Jordan; Mrs. Rose ' Ashlon, Lehi. Services were Monday, Feb. 25, at the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Dawna) Boren. Services will be Thursday Feb. 28, 1985, at 1 p.m. in a Rexburg, Idaho Chapel and on Friday March 1, 1985, at 2 p.m. will be a viewing at the Pleasant Grove Second Ward, 800 N. 100 W. Pleasant Grove, Utah. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Colleen Marrott Roundy, 50, of Rexburg Idaho died of cancer, Monday Feb. 25, 1985 at her home. She was a former resident of Pleasant t Grove, Utah. She was born Aug. 22, 1935 in Lehi, Utah a daughter of William Robert and Thelma Varney Marrott. She married Dr. Jerry C. Roundy in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her husband, three daughters and one son: Mrs. Klay (Melanie) Kunz of Layton, Ut.; Mrs. Gordon (Maria) Hudson of El Toro, Ca.; Alana Roundy of Rexburg; Scott C: Roundy, serving a mission in Italy, four grandchildren; her parents of Pleasant Grove, Ut. and one Cards of Thanks Marion Kelly the lovely floral offerings of-ferings and the food prepared for our comfort. Elaine Coon, 30, American Fork, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 1985, at American Fork. She was born Feb. 5, 1955, at Milford to Herbert Lex and Zelda Merryweather Coon. She is survived by her father of Milford; her mother of Salt Lake City; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Merryweather, Milford; Milfo-rd; two brothers: William H. Coon, Milford, and Blair R. Coon, Cedar City; and two sisters: Mary Walton, Salt Lake City, and Janet Lounsbury, Hurricane. The flowers were arranged by the Lehi Sixth Ward Relief Society. Jody Bennett Funeral services were held for Dean Powell on Feb. 20, at the Wing Mortuary chapel with Bishop Guy Cash, officiating. of-ficiating. Helen Newman played prelude and postlude music and the family prayer was given by Davis S. Tolman, a grandson. Glenn Sabey offered the invocation, and the biographical sketch was given by Beverlee Tolman, a daughter. An organ medley was played by Eva Carson and speakers were Francis B. Grant, and Bishop Leland G. Price. Vera Traine and Ann Bushman sang the beautiful hymn, "Hold Thou My Hand". They were accompanied by Eva Carson. Bishop Cash spoke comforting remarks, and the benediction was spoken by a long-time friend and neighbor, Abel J. Ekins. The dedicatory Kevin and Christine Bennett extend their appreciation to all who have helped and supported sup-ported us through Jody's recent death. We have been touched by the many acts of caring - visits, phone calls, flowers, food, cards, etc. We have been strengthened by your words of comfort and love. -Kevin and Christine Bennett |
