Corey Marven Sobotka, 10, died July 29, 1984 in American Fork. He was born Nov. 21, 1973 Fork to Harvey Marven and Bonnie Moore Sobotka. He is survived by his parents, Alpine; four sisters and three brothers : Dennis Sobotka, Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. Robert (Dori ) Brown; Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Ken (Krista) Webber, American Fork; Janae, Shelly, Kelly, Dallas, all of Alpine; grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Penkosky, St. George; Mrs. Cecil Moore, Enterprise; Mary Walker, Sandy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Utah Stale Training School LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel I Wednesday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Alpine City Cemetery under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary. Isabelle Sinclair' Steiger, 80, died Wednesday, July 25, 1984. She was born April 24, 1904 in Hamilton, Scotland.to David Shaw and Agnes McNeil Sinclair. She married Philip Steiger June 10, 1929 in Salt Lake City. He died May 6,1971. She was active in the Senior Citizens Group and organized a band in ! X , J I J both the Denver and Salt Lake - areas. She Clara M. Heaps Clara Minerva Riddle Heaps, 94, died July 30, 1984 in Bountiful. She was born Sept. 8, 1889 in Makersfield, Lancashire, England, to Isaac Jimison and Clara Marie Berry Riddle. She married Joseph Kate Fowler Austin Card of Thanks We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many friends, neighbors and family members for all the expressions of sym-pathy and love shown us at the death of our loved one, Belva Hall Francom. He died Feb. 21, 1968. She was active in all LDS Church auxiliaries and was a member of the Greenwood Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Mrs. Edna Sargent, Cedar City; Edwin R. Heaps, West Jordan; Willard E. Heaps, Layton; Mrs. Leo (Charlene) Norton, West Bountiful; a r, Mrs. Lera (Corine) Schow, Salt Lake City; a sister, Mrs. W. Arden (Ruby) Woolsey, Cedar City; 21 grandchildren; 54 great grand-children; one great great grand-child. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. Maren Catherine (Kate) Christensen Fowler Austin, 92, of Lehi, died July 29, 1984 at a nursing home in Lehi. She was born Feb. 28, 1892, ,in Aalborg, Denmark, to Peter and Jensine Nielsen Christensen. She married Daryl Fowler, Jan. 4, 1911, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, He died March 28, 1948 in Salt Lake City. She later married Cliff J. Austin, Jan. 21, 1955, in Lehi: She was a member of the LDS Church whre she served in the Relief Society and the Primary. She loved flowers, belonged to the Lehi Garden Club, and Oral Todd McGregor, 83, , Huntington Park, California, passed away July 4, 1984 in Hui tington Park of a lingering illness. He was born Oct. 19, 1900, in Alpine, to Thomas and Olivia Healey McGregor. . He resided many years in California . but especially enjoyed returning to Alpine. He is survived by his wife, Helen, Huntington Park; a daughter, Mrs, Meryse Koegel, Cerritos, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Velda Despain, American Fork; three gran-ddaughters, Lana, Futura, Ramona Reich operated Fowler's Floral in Lehi, She is survived by her husband of Lehi; five sons and four daughters, Arlin Fowler, Fresno, Calif.; Bruce Fowler, Los Altos, Calif.; Edmund Dale Fowler, Ore.; Interment was in ,' Inglewood Memorial Park. Roy A. - Whitby, 77, Belleflower, Calif., passed away July 20, 1984 at a Belleflower hospital of a lingering illness. He was born March 25, 1907 in Alpine, to - Thomas Alvin and Cora Moyle Whitby. He has resided in Belleflower, Calif, for a number of years. He is survived- - by his wife, Ruth; one son, Walter, Belleflower; one daughter, Mrs. Jeff (Wanda) Thompson, Belleflower; four sisters: Mrs. Helen McGregor, Huntington Park, Calif . ; Mrs. Alice Carlisle, Alpine; Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Jensen, American Fork; Mrs.. Robert (May) Morgan, Salt Lake City; three 1980. She graduated from BYU in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She was a writer and in-terested in writing children's books. She worked as a sales clerk at Castleton's at the University Mall in Orem, Following her marriage she moved to Provo. The Laffertys moved to American Fork in December,. 1982. Survivors include her husband, American Fork; parents of Kimberly, Idaho; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Archie R. Wright, St. Ignatius, Mont. ; one brother, five sisters: Betty Wright, Salt Lake City; Bonnie Wright, Janette Wright, Sharon Wright, Joanne Lee Wright, Steven James Wright, all of Kimberly. Joint funeral services with her daughter, Erica Lane Lafferty, were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the American Fork First Ward. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls, Idaho. Venora Ovenden Brenda : Wright Lafferty, 24, American Fork, died Tuesday, July 24, 1984. She was born July 19, 1960, In Logan to James Louis Wright and LaRae Hatch Wright. She married Allen ' Lafferty April 22, 1982 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. As a youth she lived in Logan, . then moved with her parents to Ithaca, N.Y., where her father attended Cornell University. She' lived a short time in Twin Falls, Idaho, and Kimberly, Idahff.-- " She served as editor of her high school yearbook in Kimberly. She attended the University of Idaho at Moscow and was elected president of the freshman sorority girls in Kappa Kappa Gamma. She attended the College of Southern Idaho and received an associate degree in communications in Erica L. Laffertv Earl Wa then in sparks, Nev. He died July, 1960. . She then married Leo Ovenden. He died Oct. 1976. She was born Oct. 1, 1895 in Brigham City to Abraham and Annie Evans. . She married Reuben A. Jensen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He later died. She married Erica Lane Lafferty; 15 months old, American Fork, died Tuesday, July 24, 1984 at home. She was born April 28, 1983 in Murray to Allen and Brenda Wright Lafferty.
