Show Pleasant Grove Junior Hteh students to begin school day later, close at 3 p.m. The following schedule has been announced for Pleasant Grove Junior High School students to finalize their registration for classes, pay fees and obtain locker assignments. Registration materials will be mailed during the week of August 6, to all students who registered for classes last Spring. The registration materials should include Student Insurance Information and Health . Information Sheets, Alpine School District Attendance Policy, Standards for Dress": and Grooming, and notification regarding Student Records. Class Schedule and locker number and combination will be given out at registration when the fees are paid. If students do not receive their materials or are new to the area, the student or parents may pick them up during the time of registration. Students should report to the school's South Entrance in appropriate dress at the time indicated below. Parents are also invited. In the event that the student cannot be present, a parent or other relative, may register for himher. 7th Grade registration . date, times and fees: August 20, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Fees: $6.00 refundable deposit. $4.50 Activity & Enrichment (optional). We strongly encourage the payment of this fee. It is used to offset the cost of special assemblies and programs, occasional movies and dances and to enrich the experiences for students in music, athletics, drama, a once yearly class party, and for student publications and handbook. $5.00 Towel. $3.00 Art (for items completed and taken home). $4.50 Insurance (optional) if not desired a waiver form must be signed; if -desired, the cost is $4.50. $6.50 Yearbook (optional). In addition to paying fees, 7th grade students will receive an orientation and tour of the school. No such orientation is planned for 8th and 9th graders. P.T.A. officers will be available on the registration days to answer questions and to take membership applications. We urge all parents to join the P.T.A. Regular classwork begins on .Tuesday, August 28, at 8:.'J0 a.m. Students should bring their class schedules with thern and report to the first period class as indicated on their schedules. They will remain the entire day. Sch(xl lunch will be served at the cost of 85 cents per day. Lunch tickets will Ix1 sold in books of 20 tickets if you desire to buy in this manner. The cost is $17.00 per book. Free lunch and reduced price lunch applications are available. The on-campus policy remains in effect, meaning no one may leave the campus between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. without special permission from tb rTiee.
