Show Ordinance No. 1983-ioT AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7 OF THE CITY CODE OF PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH, TO PROVIDE A DEFINITION OF PASTURE AND TO CHANGE THE DISTANCE CERTAIN ANIMALS CAN BE KEPT FROM CITY STREETS IN THE A-2 & C-2 ZONES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLEASANT GROVE CITY, UTAH COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 7-1-2 OF THE CITY CODE OF PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH IS HEREBY AMENDED BY ADDING AD-DING THERETO THE FOLLOWING DEFINITION: DEFIN-ITION: PASTURE: An area which has enough vegetation to completely com-pletely support animals without supplemental feeding. SECTION 7-11-10 OF THE CITY CODE OF PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 7-H-io ANIMAL AND FOWL PROVISION: No pen or corral for the keeping of animals or fowls (except (ex-cept household pets) shall be constructed less than one hundred feet (100') from any dwelling, nor less than one hundred fifty feel (150') from any street in the R-i, A-l and C-l zones. There shall be no distance requirement from the street for a pasture which is located in the A-2 or C-2 zones. The distance of any pen or corral from a city street or adjacent dwelling in the A-2 or C-2 C-2 zones shall be at least one hundred feet (100'). In the A-2 and C-2 zones there shall be no distance requirement that animals must be away from the dwelling of the owner of the animals. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its passage and twenty (20) days after its publication. David R.
