Show Girls basketball tournament SDringville defeated American Fork and Pleasant Grove to win the first of what is hoped to be an annual an-nual Pleasant Grove Girls Basketball Tournament Tuesday. - In the opening round Monday, Springville rolled over American J-'ork as Linda Burt and Camille Larsen combined for 28 points had 10 points for the Lady Cavemen but the Lady Red Devils were iust too powerful to handle -Tuesday, the Lady Red Devils relief on the strong inside play of Burl to down a young Pleasant Grove team for first place. In the consolation game, American Fork bested Lehi with Rasmussen again topping the Lady Cavemen in scoring. Named to the All-Tourney Team were Rasmussen (American Fork), Angie Pcay and Larson (Springville), Becky Barnes (Lehi) and Margo Nelson (Pleasant Grove). Burt was named the Most Valuable Player.
