BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLEASANT GROVE CITY, UTAH COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION OF THE CITY CODE OF PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH IS HEREBY AMENDED BY AD-DING THERETO THE FOLLOWING DEFIN-ITION: PASTURE: An area which has enough vegetation to com-pletely support animals without supplemental feeding. SECTION OF THE CITY CODE OF PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH IS HEREBY TO READ AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ANIMAL AND FOWL PROVISION: No pen or corral for the keeping of animals or fowls (ex-cept household pets) shall be constructed less than one hundred feet (100') from any dwelling, nor less than one hundred fifty feel (150') from any street in the R-- i, A-- l and C-- l zones. There shall be no distance requirement from the street for a pasture which is located in the A-- 2 or C-- 2 zones. The distance of any pen or corral from a city street or adjacent dwelling in the A-- 2 or C-- 2 zones shall be at least one hundred feet (100'). In the A-- 2 and C-- 2 zones there shall be no distance requirement that animals must be away from the dwelling of the owner of the animals. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SEC-TION DUTIES IN RELATION TO FINANCE, OF THE REVISED OR-DINANCES OF LEHI CITY, 19657 AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION DUTIES IN RELATION TO FINANCE. outlines the duties of the City Recorder as it relates to finance and requires the City Recorder to present a proposed budget to the City Council by the first regularly scheduled meeting in May. 4. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SEC-TION AP-PLICATION OF MONEY RECEIVED ON SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS, OF THE REVISED OR-DINANCES OF LEHI CITY, 1965, ENACTING replenishing the special improvement guaranty fund, allows for the sale of warrants to meet financial liabilities and provides for the establishment of an annual tax levy to pay such warrants. 6. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SEC-TION 20-3-- TRAN-SFER OF SURPLUS TO GENERAL FUND, OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF LEHI CITY, 1965, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 20-3-- EX-CESS AMOUNT IN GUARANTY MAY TRANSFER TO GENERAL FUND. provides for the transfer of funds from the special im-provement guaranty fund to the general fund for amounts in excess of 25 of the average amount of all special improvement bonds. 7. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SEC-TION 20-1-- 6, SET-TLEMENT WITH THE COUNTY, OF THE REVISED OR-DINANCES OF LEHI CITY, 1965, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 20-1-- SETTLEMENT WITH THE COUNTY. prescribes the procedure for settlement of tax monies due the city from the county which settlement must occur before the last day of March in each year. 8. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SEC- - ENACTING A NEW SECTION 12-2-- JOINING WITH COUNTY TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN LOCAL HEALTH OF ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS REQUIRED. requires the city to join with the county to create and maintain a local health department and adopt ordinances and regulations necessary for the proper protection of the public health. 10. Ordinance No. 1983-10- 3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE, PROVISIONS OF TITLE 9 CHAPTER 2, SECTIONS 3 (A) AND 10 (A) AND ADDING SECTION 18 to PROVIDE A NEW FEE SCHEDULE FOR CEMETERY LOTS AND OPENING AND CLOSING OF GRAVES AND ADDING SEC-TION 18 TO PROVIDE A DEFINITION OF THE TERM RESIDENT. BE I'lT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLEASANT GROVE CITY, UTAH COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH: SECTION (A) of the Pleasant Grove City Code is hereby amended to read: SALE OF LOTS; MAINTENANCE (A) Perpetual Maintenance: Any person who has heretofore purchased a lot, part of a lot or in-dividual burial site in the cemetery which is not provided perpetual care may; and any person who shall hereafter purchase a lot, part of a lot or in-dividual burial site shall pay into the Treasury the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each burial site to be occupied by a resident or of the City. After said fees have been paid the City shall thereafter, at its own expense, care for, maintain and furnish water for and irrigate the lot, part of lot or individual burial site in grass or some type of vegetation. SECTION (A) of the Pleasant Grove City Code is hereby amended to read: COMPENSATION BY PRIVATE PERSONS: (A) The Treasurer is hereby authorized and required to collect from those requiring services of the Sexton the following fees: For digging each grave and replacing earth, one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each burial site to be occupied by a resident of the City and two hundred fifteen dollars ($215.00) for each burial site to be occupied by a non-resident of the City. The opening and closing costs for an infant burial shall be thirty-fiv- e dollars ($35.00) for a resident family and one hundred and ten dollars ($110.00) for a non-reside- family. For digging and replacing the earth for a burial performed on Saturday or a holiday, a fee as established by resolution of the City Council shall be charged in addition to all other fees. When one grave site is used for two burials the regular rate for the first burial shall be assessed. The second burial shall also be assessed at the regular rate. Should both burials occur with the first opening and closing of the burial site there will be only one grave opening and closing fee assessed. The fee for removing a body from a burial site shall be two hun-dred fifty dollars ($250.00). (Ord., SECTION is hereby added to the Pleasant Grove City Code to read: DEFINITION, OF RESIDENT: A resident is defined for the purpose of this Chapter as a person who has lived in Pleasant Grove for thirty one (31) da prior to the use of 'a grave site.
