Show GOVERNOR MATHESON SIGNING PROCLAMATION OF Home Buyer s Week Oct. 27, 1982 - I. to r., Uuane Herbert, 2nd Vice President, HBA of Utah; Dave Moulding, President of HBA of Utah ; Ernest Dean, E.O., Utah Valley HBA; Bob McDougla, Secretary Treasurer, HBA of Utah; Scott Harcy, President, HBA of Greater Salt Lake; Phil Hancock, Immediate Past President, HBA of Utah. Home buyers school to be held at Utah Tech Utah Valley Home Builders Association, in cooperation with the Utah Mortgage Loan Corporation and the Building Trades Divi sion of Utah Technical College, are jointly sponsoring a home buyers school to be held at Utah Technical College, Oct. 27th from 7 to 10 p.m. This school is part of a state-wide effort by Home Builders of Utah to educate the public as to how, in today's depressed economy, home buyers can have built that home which meets their needs, states Ernest Dean, chairman of the seminar. Speakers will include a real estate agent; two bankers; one covering the subject how to acquire a conventional bank loan; the other covering FHA andVA loans. The state recently issued over $100 million in revenue bonds which is available for construction con-struction loans. A speaker will be present to explain how buyers can obtain money from this fund to build their home. Included on the program pro-gram will be an attorney, attorn-ey, explaining what the buyer needs to look for in a sales contract. A home builder will also cover what to look for in a well-built home. Several local home builders and real estate agents will be present to conduct seminars on lots and homes available avail-able in Utah County. |
