Show Halloween candy ; under investigation Pleasant Grove police have sent a miniature candy bar to be analyzed after a woman tasted her children's trick or treat candy and had an immediate im-mediate medical reaction last Saturday evening. Linda Bullough, 330 N. 1330 E., told police that she took a bite of a small Three Musketeers bar which one. of -her children had received while trick or treating and immediately went into tachycardia which is usually caused by amphetemine type drugs, the police report said. Mrs. Bullough is now alright, the officer noted. The bar has been sent for testing by the Pleasant Grove Police Department Depart-ment but a response has not yet been received on the contents of the bar. Police Officer Dave Vickers said that a portion of a needle was found in a Toosie Roll which had been given to . the children of Dave Brown, 518 E. 500 S., when they were out on Halloween evening. The needle was found by Mr. Brown while he was chewing the candy. |
