Show Laura Marie Ivie and Layne Boyd Anderson Laura Ivie, and Layne Anderson Will Marry Mr. and Mrs. William Ivie are pleased to announce an-nounce the engagement and forthcoming marriage mar-riage of their daughter Laura Marie to Layne Boyd Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Kent Anderson of Pleasant Grove. Laura and Layne have chosen Friday, September 14 th to be sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, with a reception in their honor to be given the same evening in the Pleasant Grove Stake Center from 7:30 to 9:30. Laure is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School where she also graduated as a 4 year Seminary student. She has attended BYU for the past three years majoring ma-joring in Recreational Therapy. She has served serv-ed as Young Adult representative and as President of the Young Adult Relief Society for the First Ward. Layne also graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and completed com-pleted the 4 year seminary program. While in school he was affiliaed with the FFA and served as Vice-president Vice-president of that organization for two years. He has served a two year mission to Taiwan. After returning return-ing from his mission he re-entered BYU where he has made the Dean's list, majoring in Agricultural Education. Educa-tion. Pre-nuptial parties were given by Kay Frost, Nadene and Gayle Anderson and Robin Barton. Those who will serve as Bridesmaids are Mary Whitehead, Linda Green and Melanie Ivie, sisters of the Bride and Laurel Anderson with Janae Anderson as Flower girl. Ron Anderson Ander-son will serve as Best Man. Special guests at the wedding will include grandparents, Mrs. Marie Riley of Kingsland, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Anderson and Mr. and Mis. Howard Warnick of Pleasant Grove. After the honeymoon, the couple will make their first home in Logan where Layne plans to continue his education at Utah State University. All friends and relatives of the couple are cordially invited to attend the reception. |
