Show this ordinance. Such notice shall contain a certification by the secretary that "all necessary legal requirements relating to such annexation have been fully completed. In the opinion of the City Council it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace, health and safety of Pleasant Grove City that this ordinance take effect upon its first publication. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and first publication. Background: 1. On the 6th day of May 1976 Craig Allred, the owner of real property as shown by the last assessment rolls, situated in the tract herein discribed, requested that said tract of land be taken within the limits of PI. Grove City. 2. Petitioner caused an accurate ac-curate plot or map to be made and certified to by a competent surveyor to be filed with the City Recorder together with said petition. 3. Said tract of land is contiguous con-tiguous to Pleasant Grove city and there is no proper reason why it should not be annexed to and made a part of said city. 4. The City Council at a regular meeting held on May 18, 1976 after examining said petition of the said owners and considering the circumstances circum-stances thereof voted by vote of more than two-thirds of all members of the City Council in favor of annexing said tract of land to Pleasant Grove City and directed that an ordinance should be passed by annexing said territory and extension of the city limits of Pleasant Grove city accordingly. 5. Subsequent to the recording recor-ding of the annexation plat and ordinance it was discovered that there had been an error in the description descrip-tion of property annexed This ordinance is passed to correct the error in the previous ordinance. Now Therefore be it ordained or-dained by the City Council of Pleasant Grove City, Utah: 1 Section 1. That the city limits of Pleasant Grove be and the same are hereby extended ex-tended and enlarged so as to include the following described tract of land in Utah County, to wit: Commencing North 175.32' and East 637.28' from North West Corner, Section 21, Township 5 South, Range 2 East Salt Lake Base and Meridan; thence as follows: thence North 06 23" 30' West 25.62'; thence North 17 52' 01" West 142.40'; thence North Nor-th 24 48' 28" West 173.65'; thence South 89 49' 11 " East 829.21'; thence South 0 12' 00" West 219.72' thence North 89 ' 42' 00" West 110.00'; thence South 0 12' 00" West 100.00' thence North 89 42' 00" West 598.70' along Sumner acres to the point of beginning. Be it further ordained and declared that when this ordinance or-dinance takes effect, the said tract of land above described shall thenceforth be within the corporate limits of Pleasant Grove City and all ordinances, ordinan-ces, jurisdiction, rules and obligations to or pertaining to said Pleasant Grove City are extended over and made applicable and pertinent to the said tract of land. Section 2. Upon passage of this ordinance, the City Recorder of Pleasant Grove City shall file and he is hereby directed to file a copy of the map or plat above-mentioned, above-mentioned, duly certified, together with a certified copy of this ordinance.
