Show Accidents Major Item in Police Report for Month of October Accidents were a major item for the Pleasant Grove Police Department in October. 16 of them were investigated with 7 non-reportables, i4 with injuries, injur-ies, and a total estimated cost of damages of $15,811. Arrests 9 juveniles were arrested and referred to court. The arrests ar-rests were for: 1 possession of controlled substance, possession possess-ion of controlled substance for sale, and issuing a false docu- ment; 1 for shoplifting, 1 for theft, 3 for possession of alcohol, al-cohol, 1 for tilltap, possession of marijuana, and armed robbery, rob-bery, and 1 runaway. 13 adults were arrested, 3 for traffic warrants, 3 for driving driv-ing under influence, 1 for driving driv-ing on revocation, 1 possession of marijuana, 1 for possession of alcohol, contributing to delinquency de-linquency of minor, and carrying carry-ing a loaded firearm, 1 for 80 in 40 zone, 1 for possesion of controlled substance, issuing a farlse document and possession of controlled substance for sale 1 for possession of controlled substance, issuing false documents, docu-ments, and contributing to delinquency de-linquency of minor. Court Action Thomas L. Jones, 22 American Ameri-can Fork, was arrested on 10-23-74 on a traffic warrant. He paid bail of $50. George Curtis Kinsey, 35, of Sandy, was arrested on 10-17-74 for driving under influence. He plead guilty and was fined fin-ed $299. Gregory J. Hampton, 19, of American Fork, was arrested 10-11-74 for possession of alcohol, al-cohol, contributing to delinquency delin-quency of minors, and carrying a loaded firearm. He was fined $75. Brent R. Cambell, 18, PI. Grove, was arrested on 10-10-74 on traffic warrants. He paid bail for warrants $210. Keith Ruben Hansen, 19, of Pleasant Grove, was arrested on 10-9-74 on traffic warrant out of Springville. William Wayne Prestwich, Randy Lee Simmons, both 19, and both from Pleasant Grove, were arrested on 9-13-74 for possession of alcohol. Both were fined $25. Ricky Dance Stott, 18, Vernal, Ver-nal, was arrested on 9-7-74 for possession of alcohol. He was fined $25. Timothy Patrick McCaffery, 20, Pleasant Grove, was arrested arrest-ed on 6-27-74 for possession of alcohol. He was fined $25. Ned Reed Jorgensen, 22, PI. Grove, was arrested on 6-15-74 for public intoxication. He was found not guilty in a jury trial. Problems Investigated Theft cassette tape recorder re-corder taken from an unlocked car parked at the high school. Unattended death Constance Con-stance Willie was found dead by her fiance on the morning of 10-8-74. Theft fencing supplies taken tak-en from residence during the months of March to October of 1974. Theft Veterinary supplies taken from the truck belonging belong-ing to Parrish Animal Clinic while parked at the residence of employee. Theft 8 track tapes taken from car parked at the high school. Theft 2 guns taken from a truck parked at residence. Arson a sack of burning material was left on the door step of a residence. Burglary gun taken from a truck parked at residence. The truck was locked. Theft carpenters equipment tapes and a notebook were taken ta-ken from truck parked at residence. resi-dence. Theft tires and wheels taken tak-en from an older model car parked at Global Industries in parking field. Theft 8 track tapes taken from car parked at Bayly Mfg. Vandalism juveniles removed remov-ed hubcaps and broke off an antenna from a car parked at residence. Theft dishwasher and compressor com-pressor taken from new home construction site. Molest one case of child molest reported at Valley View Elementary School. It is still under intensive investigation. |
