After routine approval by the board of a number of business items, the 1983 budget was reviewed and an error in the amount of $64,000 in the 1982 budget discussed. Since the error was just found, it carries over to the current budget, which is therefore, $64,000 in the red now. A special meeting to discuss this matter was set by the board for January 4, 1983. Approximately fifteen con- cerned citizens" advised the Board of Education in the regular meeting Tuesday night they felt Dr. Richard GoodwdrthV contract with the district should not be renewed for the coming school year. They stopped , sh6rt of presenting any petitions to that effect to the board, however. President Nancy McComb advised the members of the public that the Board had discussed the matter and would appreciate their views, but would rather opinions were not presented in petition form. The board then released the following statement: It is the policy of the Park City Board of Education to continually evaluate all of its employees. In an attempt to obtain the best available information to substantiate each evaluation, a variety of data is collected. A substantial portion of this information is supplied through the formal structure of the district. The board actively solicits communication communica-tion and input from anyone.
