Deadline for mail-order tickets to the second annual Olde Englyshe Yule Feaste has been set for Nov. 29, according to Dr. Joyce New man, chairman of the University Uni-versity of Utah event. A sell-out last year, the dinner party has extended its run to four nights, covering both the campus and a "foreign" base. The gala holiday even will be held in the Olpin Union Ballroom on Dec 8, 9 and 11 and again in Park City on Dec. 10. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. for all three campus gatherings, gather-ings, with the King's Processional Proces-sional March to start promptly prompt-ly half an hour later. Time, place, ticket information and other details of the Park City dinner should be obtained from Park City Performances, Performanc-es, 328 Main St., or by phoning 1-649-9371. The "feaste" will be dished up and served with all the pomp and ceremony of England's golden years, said Dr. Newman, who is an associate professor of music. The menu will include wassail, soup, sala, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, mushroom sauce, vegetables and traditional plum pudding. pudd-ing. The meal has been worked out with the University Univer-sity Food Services staff, headed by Eldon Riding. During and after dinner, guests will be entertained by members of the Collegium Musicum, wandering musicians, music-ians, jugglers, fencers, acrobats, acro-bats, magicians, jesters and gymnasts. When called upon, the audience will join in singing traditional Christmas Christ-mas carols. Prizes will be given for the best costumes of the period. Dr. Newman said that seating plans would be similar to last year's: eight diners to a table, with tables assigned in the order that reservations are made. Reservations and tickets will be sold through Kingsbury Kings-bury Hall, in person, by phone or by mail order. In-person reservations can be made through Dec. 1, which is also the deadline for picking up phone order tickets. Cost of the party has been set at $10 per person, while U. of U. students with current ID may attend for just $6 per person.
