Show Vietnam Vet Reviews 'Killing Radius' "Killing Radius was definitely not the kind of play you walk away from saying "What a great story!" Why? Because it is not, in my opinion, for entertainment, but to help those of us who were involved to remember and to teach those not involved about something no one likes: the absurdity of reality. It would be so easy to turn our backs on an unpopular past and just forget. But in doing so, we assure ourselves of one thing - that, if we cannot learn from negatives in the past, we will surely continue to make the same mistakes. All the players came across as real individuals, thrown into a situation they had to cope with in the best way possible. The set was simple but effective, the directors use of the entire theater with players entering from behind the audience and all other places in the facility, certainly enhanced the production. Media presentation was good even to the point of the slides being slightly out of focus since I don't feel anyone thrust into the Vietnam conflict saw it clearly, nor do we now! The music was excellent and well chosen. The use of Vietnam era popular tunes truly set the mood and caused the audiences to go back in time. Don't miss it. You really owe it to yourself and the future. Just as I, you may not walk away feeling great about the nights' entertainment, I assure you it will cause you to think and to hope that we can stay away from the "Killing Radius" within each of us.
